Learning from GSTC Attraction Standard Early Adopter Program Participants

Attractions are a critical component of the tourism industry, with millions of visitors visiting popular destinations worldwide, and therefore play an important role in shaping experiences. Attractions have the power to promote sustainable practices, preserve cultural heritage, and protect natural resources. Sustainable management practices in attractions can minimize these impacts while providing a quality visitor experience.

After developing a new standard set, GSTC launches an Early Adopter Program to facilitate the practical implementation of the new standard, supporting their development and effective application in the industry. The GSTC Early Adopter Program for Attractions participants test the new GSTC Attraction Standard, to practically test the new standard’s application, exploring implementation methods and fostering a collaborative environment for sharing challenges and best practices. In this session, the Early Adopter Program participants will be sharing challenges and best practices, to help build expertise for sustainable and responsible growth in the attraction sector.
